These terms cover your use of Who Knows Us Best at couplequiz.shipr.gg (“the service”, “we”, “us”). By building or buying a quiz you agree to them.
You enter two first names, an optional occasion and a set of questions. We turn them into a hosted quiz game that your guests play in a web browser, and we keep a leaderboard of their scores. Building a quiz is free. Publishing one — which gives you a permanent shareable link, a QR code, the live leaderboard and removal of the preview watermark — costs the one-time price shown at checkout, in USD. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Prices are shown in US dollars; Paddle may charge sales tax or VAT depending on where you are, and will show this before you pay. We never see or store your card details.
A published quiz link is intended to stay online indefinitely and we have no plans to remove it. We do not guarantee perpetual availability: if we ever discontinue the service we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email to the address on your Paddle receipt. Occasional downtime for maintenance or caused by our hosting provider is not a breach of these terms.
The names, questions and answers you enter remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them for the purpose of running your quiz. You are responsible for what you write — do not enter content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights, and do not enter other people’s personal information without their agreement. We may remove a quiz that breaks this rule, and in that case we will refund you.
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other people’s quizzes or data, or use automated means to create quizzes in bulk. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe this is happening.
The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a party not going to plan. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and none of this affects your statutory consumer rights.
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your purchase. Material changes will be noted by the “last updated” date above.
