Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Who Knows Us Best (couplequiz.shipr.gg) does with personal data. We deliberately collect as little as possible: there are no user accounts and no passwords.

What we collect

• Your quiz content — the two first names, the occasion if you add one, and your questions and answers. Stored so your quiz can be played.
• Guest entries — the name a guest types before playing and the score they get. Shown on your quiz’s leaderboard. Guests choose what name to enter and can use a nickname.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Paddle. We receive a transaction identifier and payment status. We never see or store your card number.
• Advertising measurement — if you arrived from a Google ad, Google’s tag records that a purchase happened so we can tell whether the ad worked. This uses cookies set by Google.

We do not run analytics profiling, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data to anyone.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process your quiz content to perform the contract you entered when you published your quiz. Guest names and scores are processed on the basis of legitimate interests — running the game you invited them to play. Advertising measurement relies on consent given through Google’s cookie mechanisms.

Who else touches it

• Cloudflare — hosting and storage of the site and your quiz.
• Paddle.com — Merchant of Record; processes your payment and issues your receipt under its own privacy policy.
• Google Ads — conversion measurement only, and only for visitors who arrived from an ad.

How long we keep it

Published quizzes and their leaderboards are kept for as long as the quiz link is live, because deleting them would break the link you paid for. Unpublished drafts are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can ask us to delete a published quiz at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — including deleting a published quiz and its leaderboard. Email hello@shipr.gg and we will act within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
